French for Specific Purposes

The French Institute in Kuwait offers French courses for specific purposes according to your professional occupation or personal needs. These courses are not designed for complete beginners. An assessment of your French proficiency level is required in order for us to be able to set up a custom-made program according to your personal needs and requirements.

These courses are give in groups (a minimum of 6 students) or in private (1 or 2 students), and end with an exam leading to a certification from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris(CCIP) or from the International Center for Studies in Education (CIEP).

Legal French

Expand your linguistic skills in law, and broaden your knowledge of the French and European legal systems.

Level required: B1

Business French

Uphold your oral and written skills in Business French.
Level required: B2

Professional French

The course allows students to enhance their understanding of the French language for professional use.
Level required: B2

Diplomatic French

Available for beginners, this course allows students to learn French in the context of European and International relations.
Level required: Beginner, starting level A1-1.

Medical French

Improve your usage of the French language in the medical field through realistic work situations.
Level required: B1/B2.

Conversation

From A2 level, it is possible to integrate a conversation class allowing you to prepare for a trip to France, share your experiences or discuss current topics in a relaxed atmosphere. These courses are taught in groups (minimum of 5 students).

Frequency : A 2h course, twice a week
Duration : 7 weeks
